BALTIMORE, Oct. 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Catalyte, the workforce development technology company which recently launched the Odyssey workforce creation and development platform, today announced two new executive hires. Vivek Khanna and Michele Cunningham join Catalyte as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), respectively, to help scale the company and increase its market visibility and momentum. Catalyte has rapidly expanded its customer base and geographic footprint over the past few years, and these high-profile hires validate Catalyte’s success and commitment to continued growth.
Vivek Khanna has 20 years of executive finance experience across some of the largest international organizations. Most recently he was CFO of Discovery Communications' U.S. operations where he helped launch and scale its digital business as well as integrate multiple acquisitions. He has also served as a trusted advisor to management teams while at Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Deloitte. At Catalyte, Vivek will lead all finance, accounting, M&A, HR and administrative functions while helping drive the company’s overall growth strategy.
“Vivek has an impressive track record, having recently grown a business from roughly Catalyte’s size into a multi-billion market leader,” said Jacob Hsu, CEO of Catalyte. “As a core member of our leadership team, we are excited to leverage Vivek’s expertise as we move to aggressively scale operations.”
Michele Cunningham has led marketing at early-stage and multi-national organizations, spearheading digital transformation and innovation initiatives over the course of her career. She has built successful marketing teams across financial services, business services and technology companies, in addition to founding and running a marketing consultancy. At Catalyte, Michele will focus on expanding the company’s solutions, scaling its Odyssey workforce development platform, accelerating client acquisition and building the Catalyte brand.
“Michele’s experience and insights in product development, launch and scaling are valuable as we look to dramatically increase Catalyte’s market and brand visibility,” said Hsu. “She will play a central role in strengthening Catalyte’s leadership position in the workforce development space.”
